Joy Fights for Women’s Rights

On April 24th, Joy and the Maa women organized a fundraiser where over $100,000 was collected that will be used for orphans of a woman in the community who was brutally raped and killed.

According to Joy, “They had a choice to ignore and not care, but they chose to care. It is time that we stop and discourage these atrocities from happening…We should say NO to injustice against women and children.”
